DevOps Engineer Internship

Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- A thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Basic understanding of command-line interfaces and Linux/Unix systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Exposure to and knowledge of branching and merging techniques in version control systems like Git.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other networking concepts and protocols.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager is advantageous, as is exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work well with stakeholders and team members.
- Motivated by oneself and eager to pick up new skills.
- This is an internship position with a six-month anticipated duration.

Responsibilities:
- Work together with the DevOps team to support infrastructure and automation tool design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for a range of software programmes and services.
- Assist with setting up and managing virtualization and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Take part in system performance, security, and availability monitoring and optimisation.
- Help with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and the identification and resolution of technical issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products are delivered and integrated without hiccups, including system administrators and developers.
- DevOps-related new tools, technologies, and best practises are investigated, evaluated, and suggested for improvement.
- To promote knowledge sharing and keep a knowledge base up to date, document processes, procedures, and technical requirements.
