Role Overview:
For the role of front-end developer, we are searching for programmers with an excellent sense of design. Among other things, front-end developers have to make sure that user experience standards and online design are in line, optimise websites for optimal performance, and keep brand consistency throughout all websites.
To guarantee consistency across all site production aspects, front-end developers must collaborate in teams with back-end developers, visual designers, and user experience designers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed for this.
The internship programme at Token Metrics lasts for three months. Depending on the demands of the organisation, this is an unpaid internship that serves as an evaluation with the potential for return offers.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure every webpage works with every browser.
- Deciding on the layout and style of web sites.
- Design decisions are made with the user’s experience in mind.
- Creating features that improve the experience for users.
- Balancing the needs of utility and aesthetics in design.
- Making sure that websites are smartphone-friendly.
- Creating code that can be reused in the future.
- Improving the speed and scalability of web pages.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Css, HTML, React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Testing the speed of websites (Google Page Speed Insights).
- Selenium, BrowserStack, and browser testing.
- Degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer science.
- Knowledge of CSS on the server side.
- Familiarity with adaptable and responsive design.
- Good ability to solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
