Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate with suitable IT asset and inventory management experience.
- An advantage would be ITIL certification.
- Should have performed equivalent roles in a major organisation.
- Working knowledge of applications such as Workday, Service Now, HAM Pro, and Oracle Financials
- Well-versed on SEZ site procedures and STPI.
Preferred qualifications:
- Good service orientation and communication skills.
- Strong documentation for leadership reporting (emails, MS Office).
- Excellent analytical and organisational abilities are required to maintain correct asset records and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work with different teams and stakeholders.
- The capacity to inspire a team while preserving a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the IT asset depot’s smooth operation and ensure that the assets are handled, stored, and distributed correctly.
- Maintain the IT asset inventory, which includes tracking, updating, and comparing stock levels.
- Organise and carry out the receiving, examination, and processing of IT assets, including peripherals, software, hardware, and software.
- Work together with the procurement teams to ensure the timely and accurate acquisition of IT supplies and equipment.
- Manage the upkeep and repair of IT assets while working with technical teams as needed.
- To safeguard IT assets from theft and unauthorised access, implement and enforce security protocols.
- To aid in proper reporting and compliance, keep records of asset transfers, repairs, and disposals.
- For depot operations and asset management activities, create and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- To cut expenses and increase efficiency, keep an eye on and optimise asset utilisation.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to achieve the aims and objectives of the organization’s IT asset management.
- Staff at the depot should receive training and direction on safe asset management practises.
