Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in engineering
- Should be proficient in Java or C++ and have no more than two years of API testing experience.
- When working with international counterparts, one should be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
An analyst for quality assurance,
- Create test plans for all new implementations as well as workflows for release testing.
- For frequent releases, manually run the test plans and related downstream workflows.
- Support is required for technical debt and manual testing of new implementations.
- To ensure the Testability of the code, they should be involved in the development process (as a quality advocate) starting with the design and coding phases.
- Should assist in deploying the integrated CI/CD pipeline.
- Should make sure that test cases are as fully automated as possible to support the shift-left methodology.
- Create ATPs for the test cases and workflows that the functional engineer (FE) has provided for inclusion in the final product.
- Use the internal framework or work with the team to create one when writing the ATPs for the product.
- Work closely with a functional engineer (FE) to confirm the viability of automation test scenarios.
- The Product Code should be understandable.
- Describe the coverage of the ATPs and the unit tests.
- Make sure that ATPs are in place for the implementation that is being done in the product by working closely with the Scrum team and QA members.
- Once the creation and execution of the ATPs is complete, ensure that you comprehend and follow the QA process (Scrum) and that there aren’t many bugs or issues.
- Work together with the Manager to order the items on the backlog for automation.
Skills Required:
The following tools should be something you’ve worked with before (required)
- API testing and programming languages like Java or C++.
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Microservices
- Mailman’s Tool
- Performed hand coding using any Java or C++-based automation tool, such as Selenium, Coded UI, or another.
- An added advantage is knowing Jmeter.
