Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong systems programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, and Groovy
- strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating system fundamentals (including Unix/Linux internals).
- Knowledge of cloud computing tools like Red Hat OpenShift, Microservices Architecture, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- To work effectively in a global team context, one needs good communication skills.
- Computer science engineering or another equivalent subject master’s or bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities:
You will have the chance to work on all phases of product development (Design/Development, Test and Support) across core Systems technologies, such as Operating Systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage Software, and Cloud Software, as a Software Engineer at IBM India Systems Development Lab (IBM ISDL).
At ISDL, I develop software:
- You will be concentrated on the creation of IBM Systems products, interacting with teams responsible for development and product management as well as end users from various geographies.
- Throughout the entire product development life cycle, you would analyse the needs of the product, choose the optimal design approach, implement/code the solution, and test. Work on IBM Systems product validation and support is another option.
- You get to work with teams that are dynamic, culture-driven, and technically skilled as they develop world-class products and deployment environments and provide our clients with an unparalleled user experience.

Skills Required:
- Knowledge of virtualization, virtualization management, cloud principles, REST API, JSON, app development on cloud platforms, and devops
- Vaadin, React JS, and UI styling libraries like Bootstrap/Material are examples of web UI frameworks.
- Understanding of GraphQL API, J2EE, JSP, RESTful web services, and J2EE
- Working knowledge of databases, SQL, Node JS, Java, Javascipt, Ansible, etc.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills while supporting the team’s efforts by achieving necessary results.
