Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong foundation in arithmetic, deep learning, computer vision, image processing, and/or pattern recognition
- Substantial expertise developing C++ in a Windows and Linux environment
- Strong mathematical abilities in optimisation and linear algebra
- Capacity to create solutions by examining intricate data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- While not necessary, familiarity with the VLSI process or semi-conductor photolithography is preferred.
- Pursuing a doctorate in physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or computer science
Responsibilities:
- Research and development of real-time algorithms is under the purview of the team. This person will create algorithms for the most cutting-edge wafer inspection systems in the world by leveraging his or her strong competencies in image processing, computer vision, deep learning, mathematics, and software. This position’s responsibilities include
- Examine the signal and noise properties of existing and new IC yield limiting flaws, develop algorithmic fixes, and verify them through prototyping and simulation.
- Define the algorithm performance specification in collaboration with the product system engineering team, and utilise it as a roadmap for the development and application of the algorithm.
- Serve as the representative of the algorithm when integrating hardware and software at the system level.
- During product demos and beta tests, offer technical support for algorithms. Collaborate with domain experts from different functional teams on unique customer engagement projects.
- Take part in the software development process’s mandatory quality assurance activities.
