Role Overview:
A motivated frontend intern is what we’re looking for to join our team. A self-driven hustler with a solid foundation in JavaScript and a great portfolio of projects at the collegiate level characterises the perfect candidate. This position presents a special chance to develop frontend technology abilities and support a rapidly expanding firm.
Responsibilities:
- Utilising React.js, create new user-facing features and make sure UI/UX designs are technically feasible.
- Construct front-end libraries and reusable components for further use.
- Components should be optimised for optimal performance on a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Uphold and enhance the business’s WhatsApp commerce platform.
- To increase usability, work together with site designers and back-end developers.
- Create guides and documentation for functional requirements.
- Make high-quality prototypes and mockups.
- Aid in the unification of several databases and data sources into a single system.
- Assure consistent branding and high-quality graphic standards.
- Keep up with new developments in technology.
Skills Required:
Must haves:
- Strong command of JavaScript, particularly the JavaScript object model and DOM manipulation.
- Working with routing tools like React Router and principles related to authorization and authentication.
- Extensive knowledge of React and its fundamental ideas, like React Hooks.
- Familiarity with Thunk/Saga for state management with Redux.
- Competence in doing tests using JEST and Cypress tools.
- Familiarity with popular front-end development tools like Webpack, Babel, Vite, NPM, etc.
- A portfolio of publicly available web applications that is demonstrable.
- Capacity to comprehend and convert commercial needs into technological specifications.
- A talent for optimisation and benchmarking.
- Knowledge of code versioning technologies like Git.
Good to haves:
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js is highly advantageous.
- Test-driven development expertise
- Curiosity to learn about the system as a whole rather than limiting yourself to your area of expertise
- Demonstrated expertise in leading software engineering teams
- A track record of success managing non-software teams, such as those in customer success, product, etc.
