Role Overview:
You will use cutting-edge full-stack development techniques and tools as a Software Engineer on the Mastercard Track Business Payment Service (BPS) team to build world-class microservices and online apps. To assist companies of all sizes in streamlining how they handle payments when purchasing or selling goods and services, we are developing a global business-to-business (B2B) technology platform. You will work with a 2-pizza team for Mastercard as a global company to build software that operates at scale and has an emphasis on performance, security, and dependability.
You will be employed by our Mastercard technology division in Pune, India, which offers a cutting-edge setting for tech teams to flourish in our collaborative, Agile engineering culture. You will help Mastercard alter the B2B market to standardise, automate, and improve the effectiveness of digital payments for both buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in your team’s planning, creation, and development of microservices.
- Utilise Angular, Java, and PCF to create and control full-stack apps and services.
- Produce scalable code that is of the highest quality and security.
- Use Git to submit Pull Requests, take part in code reviews, and do retrospectives.
- Work together with test engineers, PM-Ts, TPMs, and software engineers.
- Ensure that your development adheres to the 12-factor app design guidelines.
- Ensure that the systems you develop adhere to Mastercard engineering best practises and governance frameworks, including the demands of enterprise architecture, operations, and security.
Skills Required:
- Your knowledge of computer science’s foundational concepts is strong.
- You have prior experience working with front-end frameworks like Angular as well as web technologies including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript.
- You have experience with Java and PCF to create applications.
- You have experience implementing solutions that make extensive use of storage technologies like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- You are familiar with automated testing and Git-based continuous delivery of software.
- You love being a part of an agile team that prioritises constant improvement.
- You have a strong drive to discover best practises, contemporary software architecture, and teamwork.
- You have a strong commitment to provide clients with software of the highest calibre.
