Eligibility Criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, or information technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Software engineering concepts and methodologies require a basic understanding and knowledge.
- Software engineering experience ranging from 0 to 12 months.
- Must have lots of energy, be proactive, pay attention to details, and be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to pick up new technologies, application-appropriate frameworks, and tools quickly.
- Ability to function as a member of a project team with a matrix structure that is diverse and geographically dispersed. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organisational skills.
- The capacity and desire to pick up new skills and engage in challenging endeavours.
Responsibilities:
- In accordance with MasterCard standards, processes, and best practises, is in charge of programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application software.
- Build software solutions with high quality, security, and scalability based on technical specifications and design artefacts in the allotted time and money.
- Research, develop, and assess potential technical solution options for the needs of the business.
- Make testing and system documentation in accordance with department standards.
- Follow guidelines for testing and development to guarantee compliance with audit requirements.
- Follow MasterCard’s procedures for quality assurance and control.
- Support metric collection and reporting for software and projects.
- Actively search for chances to raise standards and boost workflow effectiveness.
