This opportunity falls under Dentsu’s integrated worldwide capabilities, which offers top-notch, responsive services throughout the network of Dentsu companies, including Dentsu Creative, Dentsu Media, and Merkle. You will be a part of Merkle in this position, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge data and technological solutions for Merkle’s international businesses.
You will be in charge of developing and managing client journeys as part of our marketing automation programmes as an associate software engineer. This covers audience segmentation, data analysis, and journey design and configuration. Scope, estimate, and implement according to the project’s established scope and architecture will be your responsibility. Studying the project’s concept, strategy, and vision is required, as is creating user scenarios, data models, information structures, and processes, as well as developing technical specifications and test procedures. Plans and estimates for implementation for both new and current clients will be created by you.
Responsibilities:
- For each of the following technologies, onboarding and on-the-job training will be offered:
- Development and Operation of SQL and ETL
- Development, execution, and digital messaging of campaigns
- Create platforms for audience and decision-making
- Driven by a passion for maximising customer satisfaction
- Engage in low- to medium-level work while under less supervision
- Able to speak and express technical concepts to a variety of audiences in a similar way.
- Determine and fix any problems with the client’s instructions before executing them.
- Deal with and manage client requests and communicate progress directly with internal teams
- Creates comprehensive QC queries or scripts to check the accuracy and completeness of file output
- Work in a dynamic, cooperative team atmosphere and communicate your thoughts in a clear, succinct manner
Skills Required:
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic familiarity with databases, SQL, and UNIX
- Basic familiarity with Python, Java Script, or Node.JS
- Writing SQL queries and comprehending DW and ETL concepts
- A working knowledge of REST, Open APIs, and CURL
- An attitude that is creative, problem-solving, and solutions-focused
- Understanding of digital marketing and messaging
- Creating front-end web applications
