Micron Data Engineer & Systems, Software Engineer Internship

Broad knowledge and experience in:
- Knowledge in advanced analytics, business intelligence, and big data engineering and processing
- Creating ELT/UTL Procedures
- Familiarity with data warehouse modelling and databases
- Familiarity with machine learning models and cloud-based data engineering
- Expertise in developing application programming interfaces (APIs)
- Familiarity with a range of frameworks and procedures, including Agile
- Establish procedures and the necessary transformations to transfer both structured and unstructured data from the source to a new physical location. Model Data
- Collaborate with data scientists to create data imputation techniques, use strategies for cleaning and preparing data for analysis, and enhance the functionality of big data and machine learning systems.
Above average skills in:
- Utilising the Hadoop stack (Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Spark, and HBase, among others), big data engineering and processing
- Develop Apache Ni-Fi-based ETL/ELT processing.
- Solid foundation in databases and SQL
- Proficiency in Python or Scala programming
- Skills in Validation and Data Analysis
Demonstrated ability to:
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace; be self-motivated and able to do tasks with little guidance
- to pick up new skills fast and adjust to changing technology
- A strong set of analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities combined with a passion for statistics and information
- Work towards a same goal in multifunctional groups with a range of requirements and interests.
- Have excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills when working with remote teams.
