Engineers that are enthusiastic, creative, and self-driven are needed by Qualcomm to work in:
- Multimedia technologies, including image processing, audio and video codecs,
- Wireless modem innovations including 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and self-organizing networks.
- Platform-level SW, including Board Support Packages, Linux, Android, and Windows.
- IOT technologies for drones, virtual reality, augmented reality, and connected cameras.
Campus Grads will be working on following areas:
- Creation of device drivers and real-time embedded software
- Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux mobile software development
- Strong OS concepts, data structures, etc. understanding
- object-oriented design and C/C++
- Wireless network protocols like CDMA, GSM, UMTS, and LTE
- Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, and Development of the Linux Kernel
- Protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, and RTP
- Audio, video, and imaging multi-media technologies
- Outstanding capacity for analysis and problem-solving
- The capacity for teamwork and collaboration.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills Opportunities consist of:
- Embedded platforms based on Windows Mobile and Android for SW development
- Development of multimedia software stacks, firmware, and drivers
- Software and Firmware Development for Wireless Modems
