Responsibilities:
- Working on practical projects with seasoned developers
- Applications should be tested and debugged to guarantee peak performance.
- Keeping abreast of the most recent developments in Java and web development best practises
- Constructing dynamic websites with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and ReactJS
- CRUD procedures and database functionality implementation
- Create innovative features for Sophos Cloud Optix that our users would adore.
- Take ownership of your modules and bear accountability for the production’s operational uptime.
- Resolve issues within clearly established SLAs to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Write Java or another language’s backend code.
- Create automated tests for integration and unit that can run in CI/CD pipelines.
- Take pride in being the code creator, and expect the same excellence from your collaborators.
- Utilise cutting-edge cloud technologies.
- Acquire new abilities and technology and use them in your work.
- Work in an Agile setting and regularly release new software.
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of data structures and methods in computing
- Strong familiarity with the Java programming language
- A basic knowledge of the main components of Java frameworks like Spring Boot
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- A sincere enthusiasm for web development and a willingness to learn
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills both in writing and speaking.
- Strong interpersonal abilities
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with creating in Google Cloud, Amazon, and Azure environments
- Knowledge of security products and safe coding practises
- Understanding user permission and authentication across many settings, servers, and systems.
